What is an AI video effect?
An AI video effect is a ready-made motion written for you: the camera move, the action and the sound are already in the prompt, so you only bring the photo. The model keeps the person from your photo and animates the scene around them.
Effects and duo videos
Effects take one photo and make a short clip. The Duo video tab on the homepage takes two photos and puts both of you in the Hotel Lobby booth for a longer duo video. Both use the same credits.
AI video effects FAQ
How much does an AI video effect cost?
Every effect is a flat 5 credits for a 5-second clip. A Standard duo video is 10 credits, so one effect is half of that. You can see your balance before you click.
How many photos do I need?
One. Effects animate a single photo. For AI Hug, that one photo should already show both people.
What happens if the effect fails?
A render that fails is never charged: the credits come straight back to your balance.
Which effects are available?
Earth Zoom Out and AI Hug today. More effects are added one at a time once they are tested.
Can I use any photo?
Only use photos you have the right to use, and only photos of adults who agreed to it. Clear, front-facing, well-lit photos give the best result.
